Graystar ❋ Tom ❋ Lakeclan
"We are not measured by our strength, but by how we use what strength we have." Graystar stood to his paws, arching his back as he stretched the kinks from his limbs. With a loud yawn, the tom straightened his back, shaking the few pieces of moss that still clung to his short fur as he walked out of the den. Another early morning for him. He never really slept in before becoming leader, but now he had duties that required him to be up.
He strided out of his den, leaping up onto one of the large roots near his den. He then groomed his fur a little, just to appear more like a leader for his clan. Not many were up this early and after his quick grooming session he lifted his head, noticing a lone she-cat near a pathetic pile of prey. Perhaps a few hunting patrols were needed? He thought to himself as he looked around the rest of the camp. Which was pretty much empty. Apparently his son wasn't the only lazy cat today. With a huff he stood, jumping down from the root.
The gray tom padded over to Smokesplash and greeted her with a smile. "Good morning, Smokesplash. The fresh kill pile seems to be a little low. Care to join me for a hunting patrol?"

Graystar ❋ Tom ❋ Lakeclan
"We are not measured by our strength, but by how we use what strength we have." Graystar was not particularly fond of slimey lake dwelling creatures, so as the rancid smell of the rot hit his nose the tom reeled back. After a moment of composing himself he looked back at the she-cat. "Good idea, shall we head out?" He gave her a smile and stood, not wanting to linger there with the rotting fish. The sooner it was gone, the happier he would be.
He nodded in greeting to the cats who were just beginning their morning routines. He had been cooped up in camp the past few days, organizing patrols and dealing with other duties. He was excited to get a chance to stretch his legs. As he neared the small stretch of land that connected the camp to the rest of the territory, he turned towards his companion. "Where would you like to hunt today, Smokesplash?" He asked, he didn't know this particular she-cat very well, and did not know in what skills she excelled, though she did look to be an excellent swimmer.
